The Apache Web Server has been the most popular internet web server in world since 1996.

With Apache you can have multiple "Virtual" web servers running on the same host with the same IP address. You can have intra net servers only visible within your organisation, secure servers and proxy servers.

You don't need to be a LinUX gurhu or an open source propagandist to run Apache. If you need web servers and you have a keen eye on the bottom line take a look at Apache and some of the companies that have already recognised the benefits of going open source.
